Project Farma and AavantiBio joined together to host PF’s first Watch Party, in partnership with Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA). This event brought us another step closer to our patient-focused mission as we looked through the patient’s eyes in the film “The Ataxian.”

Throughout the powerful film, we witnessed Friedreich’s Ataxia patients, Kyle Bryant and Sean Baumstark, take action and find hope as they embark on a journey to complete the “world’s toughest bike race,” the Race Across America.

At the event, we had an impactful lineup of guest speakers as well. Project Farma’s very own Tony Khoury and Danny Foody and AavantiBio’s Bo Cumbo provided opening remarks on being patient-focused organizations and the role we have in finding treatments for FA.

The Ataxian stars, Kyle Bryant and Sean Baumstark, as well as Executive Producer, Tom Hamilton, also joined us for a post-film reflection and Q&A. Not to mention, we donated a Top End Cycle to the winner of rideATAXIA’s Ataxian Athlete Initiative.
