Project Farma Appoints Richard Tree as Chief Operating Officer

Project Farma Welcomes Industry Veteran Richard Tree as Chief Operating Officer 

Shelton, CT, April 23, 2025 – Project Farma (PF), a leading life sciences consultancy focused on advancing technical operations from ideation through commercialization, today announced the appointment of Richard Tree as Chief Operating Officer, effective April 21, 2025. 

As COO, Rich will focus on scaling Project Farma’s infrastructure and guiding strategic initiatives that expand our reach and amplify our impact, while strengthening our position as the preferred solution provider for global pharma organizations and deepening our commitment to the patients.

Rich has been leading life science service organizations for over a decade. He is a veteran of the US Navy, and holds a Doctorate Degree in Engineering Management, an MBA, and executive certifications from Standford University and Harvard Business School. Rich also brings deep expertise in Lean Six Sigma, organizational design, and business strategy, along with decades of leadership across the life sciences, manufacturing, and consulting industries.  

Rich joins Project Farma from CAI where he oversaw global operations. Throughout his career, he has consistently delivered operational excellence, performance improvements, and sustainable growth in competitive markets.
